In this 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show, Wuling Motors’ first sedan – Wuling Xingguang, officially starts pre-sale. The new car offers two configuration versions: 70 Standard Edition and 150 Advanced Edition, with pre-sale prices of 93,800 yuan (13080$) and 109,800 yuan (15310$) respectively. The new car is equipped with Wuling’s latest black technology “Wuling Lingxi Hybrid System”, with a comprehensive range of over 1,100 km.

The new car is built on a completely new native new energy architecture, with a chassis that combines McPherson independent front suspension and E-type multi-link independent rear suspension, and is equipped with a second-generation electromagnetically hybrid-specific gearbox.With regard to the dimensions of the body, the length, width, and height of the new car are 4835/1860/1515 mm, and the wheelbase is 2800 mm. The through-type taillights visually give a sense of stability.
In terms of interior design, the new car has an overall simple layout and is equipped with a 15.6-inch touchscreen center console and an 8.8-inch LCD dashboard. It also features a unique “reclining chair design” where the front seats can be fully reclined up to 180° to form a flat surface connected to the rear seat cushion, creating a reclining chair.
In terms of power, the pure electric version will be equipped with an electric motor with a maximum power of 100kW; the plug-in hybrid version will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5L engine and an electric motor, with the engine’s maximum power being 78kW.
