At this year’s car show, the Tank 700Hi4-T Limited Edition made its debut, positioning itself as a tough mid-to-large-sized SUV with a design that continues the mech trend. The pre-sale price for the Tank 700 Hi4-T Limited Edition was announced during the presentation, set at 700,000 yuan (98410$). Only 70 units are available for the initial pre-sale, and the first batch of customers can expect delivery in February 2024.
In terms of appearance, the new car adopts a completely new design language for the front face, the overall style is very similar to the Tank 400, both following the mecha style route. The front of the car features a large front bumper design, effectively increasing the horizontal visual width. At the same time, the bonnet is equipped with an air intake design, and the roof is also equipped with a spoiler, giving it a strong sense of hierarchy.
At the same time, the front headlight group adopts irregular design, and the “eyebrow” design located on the front hood greatly improves its recognition. In addition, the body also incorporates a lot of carbon fiber materials.
When viewed from the side, it can be seen that the new car has a very large sense of volume. The prominent front and rear wheel arches have a strong tough style, while the downward sloping roof enhances the overall elegance of the vehicle.
The rear of the car adopts a design with a wider bottom and narrower top, creating a sense of heaviness and visual width. The large rear bumper design corresponds with the front of the car. In terms of details, the car is also equipped with an external spare tire and side-opening door design, highlighting the exclusive feel of a rugged SUV. In addition, the roof spoiler can effectively enhance the sportiness of the vehicle.
In terms of driving assistance configuration, the Tank 700Hi4-T adopts a fusion solution of laser radar and vision, with a total of 26 sensors in the vehicle, capable of achieving Level L2+ driving assistance system functions such as high-speed NOH automatic navigation and lane change. In terms of power, it will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 3.0T engine and P2 electric motor. The acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour reaches a level of 5 seconds. In terms of chassis, the new car adopts a non-load-bearing body structure and is equipped with an air suspension. It has an approach angle of 22°, a departure angle of 26°, a longitudinal passage angle of 22.5°, and a maximum water wading depth of 900mm, with excellent off-road capability.
