The 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show opened on November 17th. Bentley unveiled the Bentayga Long Wheelbase MULLINER edition, positioning the new car as a super luxury SUV. It is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine and offers a wide range of personalized options. This showcases the unique design features and luxury of the MULLINER edition.
In terms of exterior design, the extended wheelbase MULLINER version of the Bentayga features many exclusive designs, such as the MULLINER-exclusive 22-inch polished or grey polished finish wheels. It also comes with self-leveling wheel caps, which keep the logo on the wheel caps in a stationary position while the vehicle is in motion.
In addition, the exclusive “double diamond” front grille of the MULLINER version is used to complement the chrome grille at the lower part of the body, with “MULLINER” exclusive lettering on the fender air intake and dual-color designed exterior mirrors, in order to enhance overall recognition.
Similarly, the extended wheelbase MULLINER version also offers a rich selection of personalized options, such as the optional MULLINER Blackline Specification. All chrome accents and exterior mirror casings, except for the Bentley emblem, are finished in a glossy black, complemented by 22-inch glossy black MULLINER wheels, giving the vehicle a more profound appearance.
The interior is also extremely luxurious, with very careful selection of materials. The cabin interior can provide MULLINER eight three-color scheme options to choose from. Three colors in the color scheme are used for the main leather, secondary leather, and accent leather respectively. This includes the “Radiance” theme color scheme composed of Hotspur Red, Beluga Black, and Linen White, as well as the “Storm” theme color scheme composed of deep blue, black, and white accents resembling lightning tearing through the night sky. The personalized MULLINER interior color scheme can offer nearly 4,000 combinations.
The extensive use of leather does not mean it is not environmentally friendly. On the contrary, the cabin of the Bentley Bentayga Long Wheelbase MULLINER edition uses olive-tanned leather in many areas. The unique feature of this leather is that its tanning process uses tanning agents made from organic by-products of the olive oil industry, in line with sustainable principles. These tanning agents are extracted from the wastewater produced during the olive pressing process, and do not contain harmful metals, minerals, or aldehydes, making the texture even softer. The carpet of the MULLINER edition is also made of 100% recycled nylon material, making it more environmentally friendly.
The Bentley Bentayga Long Wheelbase MULLINER edition is available in standard 4+1 and 4-seat versions, both equipped with Bentley’s aviation-grade seat package. The seats feature 22-way adjustable functions, with the world’s first automatic temperature sensing and massage functions. In terms of other features, the familiar Bentley diamond pattern grille is included, with 12 LED light groups built into each front door and 22 in each rear door, providing a wonderful atmosphere inside the car. In terms of power, the Bentley Bentayga Long Wheelbase MULLINER edition is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 gasoline engine with 32 valves. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system, with a maximum power of 550 horsepower, peak torque of 770 Nm, and a top speed of 290 kilometers per hour, with an acceleration time of just 4.6 seconds per hundred kilometers. The Bentley Bentayga Long Wheelbase MULLINER edition also comes with electronic all-wheel steering and Bentley’s dynamic driving system, as well as a three-chamber air suspension. Positioned as a super luxury SUV, the Bentley Bentayga Long Wheelbase MULLINER edition allows customers to customize the body details according to their preferences, creating a unique version of the Bentayga Long Wheelbase MULLINER edition. The Bentley Bentayga Long Wheelbase MULLINER edition will further enhance its competitiveness in the same class, competing with models such as the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and the Mercedes-Maybach GLS.
