At the 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show, Dadao EV officially made its debut at the Jiangling New Energy booth. The new car is based on the fuel version of Dadao and is positioned as a high-end electric pickup truck. It is equipped with the world’s first dynamic domain control battery pack, with a maximum range of over 500km under the most demanding conditions and a top speed of over 140km/h. It also has the largest cargo space in its class and the largest front trunk of any pickup truck in China.
Compared to the fuel-powered version, the Jiangling Dajia EV retains the overall design of the fuel-powered model, but incorporates electrified elements in the details, giving it a more futuristic appearance.
According to official data, the new vehicle is equipped with the world’s first power domain-controlled battery pack, with a maximum range of over 500km under maximum working conditions and a top speed of over 140km/h. It has the largest cargo space in its class and the largest front trunk of any pickup truck in China. At the same time, Jiangling Dao EV adopts the world’s first high-performance oil-cooled coaxial electric drive axle. This new powertrain architecture of “power domain-controlled pack + coaxial electric drive axle” is a first in the industry, and the highly integrated chassis structure can significantly reduce the overall vehicle energy consumption.
At the same time, the industry’s first Bosch IPB intelligent integrated braking system is also applied to this pickup model. As for the electric version’s motor, power information, etc., it is still unknown and we still need to wait for the official disclosure.
