The 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show has officially kicked off the pre-sale of the Dongfeng Nano 01, with pre-sale prices ranging from 79,800 yuan (11170$). The new car is positioned as a small pure electric vehicle, born from a brand new electric architecture.
In terms of appearance, the front of the Nano 01 adopts the Dongfeng Swift logo, with a through-type headlight design. The overall front face design is simple, and it is expected that this design will also become the brand’s family design style. There are four body colors to choose from: worry-free white, heart-warming yellow, serene blue, and fantasy purple.
The smaller size of this car makes it quite nimble. It adopts a four-door layout with a short front and rear overhang design, and is equipped with hidden door handles, low drag wheels, and a large rear window for excellent visibility. The rear door also features a two-tone design with a nano English logo in the center.
In terms of interior, the new car has a simple overall style with a two-tone color scheme. It features a full LCD screen and a floating central control screen, with minimal physical buttons. The new car has a smart cockpit that can be controlled as much as possible through voice commands. In addition, the seats in the car can be “one-touch flat”.
In terms of power, the motor has a maximum power of 70kW and a top speed of 140km/h, which is in line with the expected performance for this type of vehicle.
In terms of range, the new car will be available in two versions, with ranges of 330km and 430km respectively. It will be equipped with super fast charging capabilities, allowing for a 200km range to be added in just 30 minutes of charging.
