The overall performance of the rear seats is commendable, but due to the use of a sloping design, the backrest angle tends to be somewhat upright, and the head space is not as spacious as an SUV. However, the legroom is still quite impressive and can be considered at the forefront of its class.

As a hybrid SUV, the Changan Q05’s 0-100 km/h acceleration time is only 7.3 seconds, which is something we didn’t expect at all. When we drove this car, whether in pure electric mode or intelligent mode, its acceleration performance was excellent. The acceleration process was very smooth and linear, with no sudden jolts, and even when the engine kicked in, there was minimal sensation inside the car.
Due to the use of independent front and rear suspension, the vehicle is able to effectively absorb the vibrations from the road surface when passing over speed bumps or rough road sections. The suspension tuning is also biased towards comfort, so even when quickly passing over speed bumps, there is no noticeable bouncing in the vehicle, making for a very satisfying ride.
In terms of quietness, the Changan Q05 is almost free from tire, road, and wind noise at speeds below 80km/h. However, at speeds above 100km/h, there is a noticeable increase in wind noise, although the control of tire, road, and engine noise is indeed well done.
In terms of handling, the performance of the new car is very satisfying to me personally, because the steering wheel is very light and comfortable to turn continuously, even women can operate it with one hand. The D-shaped steering wheel may need some getting used to, but it is still quite easy to use once you get used to it.

The official 0-100 acceleration time is 6.9 seconds, and after actually experiencing it, we feel that this time is very realistic. The car provides a strong sense of acceleration, which immediately gets us excited.
In the corners, the performance of the Changan Qiyuan A06 is also remarkable. Whether it’s a series of S-bends or small moose tests, this car can grip the ground very steadily and the steering control is precise enough. The feedback intensity has also increased, thereby improving the safety of driving.
And in high-speed long bends, the vehicle does not experience understeer, while also effectively suppressing body roll. Even when passing through slalom tests at 60 km/h, passengers inside the car can sit stably, indicating the seriousness with which this car approaches sportiness.
