IT Home November 26th news, Bentley announced that the last custom-made model of the Mulsanne, the 2020 Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase Custom Edition, handcrafted at the company’s UK headquarters, has now “returned home” and been included in the Bentley Heritage Collection.
Bentley Mulsanne 2009 made its debut at the Pebble Beach Car Show in the United States and was discontinued in 2020, with a total production of 7300 units. Following the discontinuation of this model, the flagship sedan of the family was taken over by the Flying Spur. This is a one-of-a-kind custom version of the Mulsanne, which was the personal car of the late Queen Elizabeth II of England. The car is painted in Balmoral Green, with an interior featuring a combination of dark green and off-white stitching, as well as walnut veneer and wool carpets.
The vehicle has also been customized in some aspects, such as the replacement of the front central armrest with a handbag storage compartment, as well as the addition of blue police lights, sirens, and speakers, and a privacy sunshade for the rear window.
In terms of power, the car is equipped with a 6.75-liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine, with a maximum power of 513 horsepower and a peak torque of 1020 Nm. The transmission system is an 8-speed automatic transmission, with a top speed of 296 kilometers per hour. According to the introduction, Bentley plans to reshape its classic lineup of models over the course of three years to showcase the brand’s 104-year history. Two and a half years after announcing this project, the number of vehicles in the “Heritage Series” has reached 45, including the EXP2 with a 3-liter engine from 1919 and the extreme version of the Continental GT from 2021.
