Dongfeng Motor announced today that its new energy brand, Lantu, has officially entered the Dutch market. During the recent Fully Charged Live Europe car show in the Netherlands, Lantu Motors exhibited two models – Lantu FREE and Lantu Dreamer. It is reported that the Netherlands has been encouraging the development of new energy vehicles since 2016 and is currently in a “rapidly growing golden period”. The two models that made their debut are both locally premiered, and the MPV model Lantu Dreamer has simultaneously started sales in the local market.
Before the Netherlands, Lantu Automobile has successively entered European countries such as Norway, Finland, and Denmark, and plans to enter the European markets such as Germany, France, and Italy in the future. The official previously stated that the Lantu Dreamer has undergone extensive testing in the Nordic region for more than 100 days, covering a total of 52,200 kilometers, and has developed a new European version of the car machine based on the local user’s aesthetic and usage habits. The 2024 Lan Tu Dreamer PHEV model is equipped with Lanhai Power’s new hybrid engine, with a thermal efficiency of 45.18%, capable of outputting 420kW of total system power and 840N·m of total system torque, with a CLTC fuel consumption of 5.36L per hundred kilometers. The car is available in two versions: pure electric and plug-in hybrid. The plug-in hybrid model is equipped with a 43-degree super large mica battery, with a pure electric range of 236km on CLTC and a comprehensive range of 1231km.
