The front grille, like the contours of high-rise buildings in the city, symbolizes the upward trend. The design inspiration for the starry sky tail light comes from the distant intersection of the city and the sky at night, interpreting the romance of the modern starry sky.
Entering the car, the GAC E8 cabin is designed with a “large flat floor” as the starting point, wrapped in a large amount of soft materials, comfortable to the touch, giving a warm and homey design style. The design of the auxiliary dashboard includes a living table, with a curled form connecting the air vents, screens, open storage, and decorative items from top to bottom, which can be used for makeup and storage needs for mobile devices when parked. As the core of the center console design, the flexible island platform, through reasonable functional partitioning, centralizes all vehicle control functions in the circular form in the island platform, with exquisite crystal gearshift embellishments, making the operating experience more ceremonial.
With the addition of new energy and intelligence, GAC New Energy E8 is equipped with a new generation of GAC Starlink architecture, also the first GAC model to be equipped with GAC Starlink architecture. Computing power increased by 50 times, data transmission rate increased by 10 times, and full vehicle multi-domain linkage can be achieved. Snapdragon 8155 chip paired with a 14.6-inch central control screen and 8-inch instrument panel, bringing users a richer and more intelligent human-machine interaction experience.
The Trumpchi E8 features a 2+2+3 seven-seat layout, which can be configured for 2, 4, 5, 6, or 7 passengers, with 345L/1437L/1917L of loading space options to meet the needs of different numbers of passengers. The vehicle is equipped with zero-gravity seats and offers seat modes such as space lying, lying down, one-key zero-gravity, and scenic tea seat to ensure the comfort of all passengers.
In terms of power, the GAC E8 is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 2.0ATK hybrid engine and a permanent magnet synchronous motor. The engine has a maximum power of 103kW and a maximum torque of 180N·m, while the driving motor has a maximum power of 134kW and a maximum torque of 300N·m. In addition, the new car is also equipped with a 25.57kWh ternary lithium battery, which can achieve a 3.3Kw external discharge power + 5.5Kw vehicle-to-vehicle discharge power.
The official announced that the new car’s WLTC fuel consumption is 5.7L/100km, and the comprehensive fuel consumption is only 1.13L/100km. The CLTC pure electric endurance is 150km, which can basically meet the daily commuting needs of users. With full fuel and electricity, the new car’s longest driving range can exceed 1200km, easily meeting the users’ long-distance travel needs.
