On December 12th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the catalog of new energy vehicle models exempt from vehicle purchase tax, including the highly anticipated Xiaomi car SU7. According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology data, the car model was announced by Beijing Automotive Group Off-road Vehicle Co., Ltd., and comes in two versions with 101kWh and 73.6kWh batteries, with ranges of 800/750km and 668/628km, respectively. The 73.6kWh version uses BYD Fe battery and is based on a 400V high-voltage platform with two-wheel drive, while the 101kWh version is equipped with CATL ternary lithium battery and is based on an 800V high-voltage platform with four-wheel drive.
According to IT Home’s previous report, Xiaomi SU7 has three versions that have been filed with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: SU7, Pro, Max, but only the Xiaomi SU7 is listed in the public list here. The car offers two different versions, single motor and dual motor. The former has a motor power of 220KW and a top speed of 210km/h, while the latter has two motors with power of 220KW and 275KW respectively, and a top speed of 265 km/h.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology data shows that the length, width, and height of the Xiaomi SU7 are 4997mm*1963mm*1455mm, with a wheelbase of 3000mm; the SU7 Max measures 4997mm*1963mm*1440mm, with a wheelbase of 3000mm.
