On December 18th, 2023, the Great Wall Motors Ice and Snow Hero Conference was held in Hailar, and the new intelligent four-wheel drive hybrid technology – the Hi4 performance version was released, with the first installation of the Wei brand high-mountain four-wheel drive executive extended version, and the Tank 700 Hi4-T first limited edition also made its debut.
The Hi4 performance version is designed with four gears, achieving seamless switching of three engines and nine modes, increasing the utilization of the engine’s efficient zone and significantly improving the vehicle’s overall energy efficiency under all operating conditions. The first vehicle to adopt this technology, the Wei brand high-mountain four-wheel drive executive long version, is equipped with front and rear dual motors, with a combined maximum power of 337kW and a combined maximum torque of 644N·m. The rear axle motor has a maximum power of 135kW and can achieve a 0-100km/h acceleration in 5.7 seconds. It is equipped with a 44.28kWh ternary lithium battery, with a WLTC pure electric range of 170km and a WLTC fuel consumption of 7.2L/100km.
The Hi4 performance version of the iTVC intelligent torque vector control system can dynamically adjust torque distribution between the front and rear axles in milliseconds, achieving fully automatic 0:100-100:0 torque distribution.
