Huawei’s winter full-scene launch event is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on December 26th, and the new Wanjie M9 model will be officially released. The Wanjie M9 will be equipped with Huawei’s intelligent chassis, with a full aluminum alloy front double wishbone + rear multi-link suspension system, and the entire series will come standard with intelligent closed air springs and CDC variable damping shock absorbers. In addition, the new car will also use the “Xuanwu body”, which is the world’s largest integrated die-cast rear body, with the entire car’s aluminum alloy volume accounting for as high as 80%, and a lightweight coefficient as low as 2.02; the entire car uses 2000MPa nuclear submarine-grade hot car type steel in 12 locations. The Wanjie M9 comes standard with 9 safety airbags + 16 safety points, and also uses pre-tensioned seat belts, with mechanical handles on all four doors to improve escape efficiency in case of danger; the door threshold beam has up to 11 protective cavities to better absorb side impact energy. Its battery also adopts a five-layer safety wrap design, with industry-leading full high-voltage heat runaway non-spreading technology, and has ten layers of thermal safety protection support, which can achieve real-time protection, active warning, active cooling, millisecond power-off, and avoid extreme situations of battery heat runaway.
IT Home noticed that the new car also uses the Huawei Tuling intelligent chassis, supporting road preview system, with adaptive active suspension, high-frequency small damping strategy makes the chassis softer, reducing seat vertical bumps; when quickly turning, accelerating, and braking, the suspension controller predicts the driver’s intention, increasing damping to make the chassis harder, suppressing body roll and pitch, maintaining stable control.
The new car is currently available in pure black, dark blue + silver dual-tone, pure white, black and white dual-tone, and Danxia orange color schemes. The Danxia orange color scheme features an orange body and black roof dual-tone design, with chrome trim around the windows.
Officials from Silesia confirmed that nearly 40,000 pre-orders have been made for the M9. The factory in Chongqing is increasing production and has started working around the clock.
