BYD launched the “Tengshi Pilot” high-speed intelligent driving assistance system based on the “Eye of Tian Shen” in September last year, with an optional price of 15,000 yuan (2120$) for the Tengshi N7, and a limited time of 12,000 yuan (1690$) for new customers. Zhao Changjiang, general manager of BYD Tengshi Sales Division, said today that the high-speed NOA of Tengshi N7 has been filed and will be launched soon. He also mentioned that the first car for customers to retrofit the high-speed NOA intelligent driving has already entered the factory, and subsequent retrofits can be completed within three months. In addition, he also said that “2024 is the OTA year”, so all models will be upgraded, including the Tengshi N7, which can increase the charging speed by 30% through OTA, achieving a replenishment efficiency of nearly 300km in 10 minutes.
According to official information from NIO, the NIO N7 advanced intelligent driving package has arrived in 99 cities across the country and has started to push high-speed NOA last month. Test drive cars have arrived at the stores.
Tengshi officials said that since the launch of the advanced intelligent driving experience season in November last year, the Tengshi N7 high-speed NOA, equipped with “God’s Eye”, has undergone rigorous tests on the challenging interchanges in Chongqing, Shenzhen, and Beijing, demonstrating strong capabilities in handling sharp curves, following cars, and changing lanes. At the same time, it performed well in professional media night AEB testing and night snow driving assistance testing.
According to IT Home, the N7 from Xpeng can now be equipped with the Xpeng Pilot advanced intelligent driving package/advanced fast intelligent driving package, with the latter equipped with the new generation NVIDIA DRIVE Orin central chip, providing more than 30 intelligent driving assistance functions, including high-speed NOA, but not supporting urban NOA assisted driving. If equipped with the Xpeng Pilot advanced intelligent driving package, the N7 can achieve multiple intelligent driving assistance functions such as high-speed NOA and urban NOA, as well as supporting traffic sign recognition, automatic parking, and mobile remote parking functions.
