Chery Group achieved “twelve consecutive increases” in sales in 2023, with a total sales of 1,881,316 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 52.6%. The sales volume in December 2023 was 215,690. The group’s annual revenue exceeded 300 billion yuan for the first time, with a year-on-year increase of over 50%, achieving a “big leap” of 100 billion yuan in one year. The group exported 937,148 vehicles in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 101.1%, ranking first in Chinese brand passenger car exports for 21 consecutive years. As of now, Chery Group has accumulated over 13 million global car users, including 3.35 million overseas users.
In the group’s main passenger car brands: Chery brand’s annual sales volume was 1,341,261, a year-on-year increase of 47.6%; Start brand’s annual sales volume was 125,521, a year-on-year increase of 134.9%; Jetour brand’s annual sales volume was 315,167, a year-on-year increase of 75%. The first product of iCAR brand, iCAR 03, started global pre-sale on December 18, and has received 10,000+ orders as of December 31.

Chery’s OMODA 5 and Tiggo 7PRO achieve top safety ratings in international crash tests. Chery ranks first in the 2023 China New Vehicle Quality Report by J.D. Power. Chery’s advanced collision testing lab conducted 532 full vehicle crash tests in one year, supporting the group’s car models to achieve five-star safety ratings in Europe’s E-NCAP, Australia’s A-NCAP, and China’s C-NCAP. Chery’s Star Era ES becomes the first domestic model to pass the “NESTA Six-Dimensional Electrical Safety” test certification system. Chery enhances electrical safety protection in multiple aspects to address user concerns.
Chery’s global pace is more steady, and the “circle of friends” for open cooperation is growing. In the “Top 50 Globalization Brands in China in 2023” jointly released by Google and Kantar, Chery ranked first in the automotive category.
