Jaguar Land Rover announced its 2023 sales in the Chinese market. The total sales for 2023 reached 106,377 units, representing a 25% year-on-year increase.
The Land Rover brand’s sales in 2023 increased by 31% compared to the previous year. The Range Rover and Range Rover Sport delivered over 25,000 units throughout the year, maintaining their leading position in the high-end luxury SUV segment.
The DEFENDER brand sold nearly 20,000 vehicles in 2023, a 59% increase compared to the previous year.
In 2023, Discovery brand and Jaguar brand both saw year-over-year growth: Discovery model’s annual sales increased by 14% year-over-year, and Jaguar brand increased by 23% year-over-year.
In addition, in 2023, the joint venture Chery Jaguar Land Rover of Jaguar Land Rover in China welcomed its 500,000th vehicle off the production line and achieved a steady 6% annual growth in domestic models.
