On January 15, today, the 2024 Ideal L7 / L8 / L9 appeared in the new product announcement catalog of the 379th batch of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, with the basic continuation of the old models in terms of appearance, and some models upgraded in terms of batteries.
First is the 2024 Ideal L7, the overall appearance of the new car has not changed much, but the license plate frame area at the rear has been moved from the rear bumper to the center of the trunk, and a high-mounted brake light is integrated into the roof spoiler. In terms of body size, the new car is 5050/1995/1750mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 3005mm.
According to reports, the update of the configuration includes upgrading the cabin chip to the Qualcomm 8295 chip and equipping the MAX model with a larger 50kWh battery pack, increasing the pure electric range to 224 kilometers. In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a 1.5T range extender, with a maximum power of 113 kilowatts, as well as front and rear dual motors and a four-wheel drive system. In addition, the new car will have four different battery packs of 40.9kWh, 41.3kWh, 41.4kWh, and 50.0kWh, with a range of 178 kilometers and 224 kilometers.
Next is the 2024 Ideal L8, with no significant changes in appearance. The front still features the iconic star-shaped LED headlights. The new car measures 5080*1995*1800mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3005mm.
In terms of power, the new car will use different ternary lithium batteries produced in cooperation with CATL, XWDT, and JSNE, depending on the version. The new car still uses a 1.5T range extender, with a pure electric range of 176 kilometers. The high-end model will be equipped with a larger 50kWh battery pack, increasing the pure electric range to 221 kilometers.

Compared to the old model, the new car is equipped with a 50kWh battery pack, and the CLTC pure electric range has been increased to 220km. On January 11th, Ideal Motors announced that the 2024 Ideal L series will undergo configuration updates. It is reported that the 2024 Ideal L series will be released in March and deliveries will begin. The release date of the 2024 Ideal L series is expected to be consistent with the MEGA, both on March 1st.
