The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the 379th batch of “Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products” today. BYD has applied for a new product announcement for the U8 model with a drone cabin.
From the declaration diagram, it can be seen that the vehicle can be equipped with different colored drone cabins, as well as optional luggage racks and other accessories. The remaining parameters are similar to the original version, positioning it as a “plug-in hybrid off-road passenger vehicle.”
