IT Home learned from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology website that Changan Qiyuan E07 has been officially positioned as a “pure electric multi-purpose passenger vehicle”. The application diagram was obtained on January 15th.
At first glance, this new car features a through-type headlight design paired with a closed front grille, smoked black wheels, and a sleek back shape, making it look more sporty and highly recognizable. The car measures 5045*1996mm*1640/1665/1695mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3120mm, giving it quite a large size.
The declaration information shows that the Qiyuan E07 will provide two power versions, two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, with the two-wheel drive version equipped with a maximum power of 252kW electric motor, and the four-wheel drive version equipped with 188/252kW front and rear motors. IT Home noticed that Changan Automobile had previously launched a concept car with the code name CD701. The car has a pickup truck body posture, with a closed roof, a 5-seat layout, and a very similar appearance to the declared model.
According to reports, CD701 has independent cabin and trunk spaces in SUV mode, and can transform into an electric pickup when the rear roof is opened. In addition, the vehicle has more than 10 expansion interfaces for connecting other hardware, and supports low-orbit satellite communication, claiming to achieve global coverage, always connected, and never lost. Whether the mass production configuration of Changan Qiyuan E07 will be consistent with CD701 is also highly anticipated.
