We obtained the declaration image of the Chevrolet’s new all-electric model, the Trailblazer EV 2WD version, from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The new car is positioned as a pure electric mid-size SUV, and the 2WD version offers two power options.
In terms of appearance, the Trailblazer EV adopts the new design of Chevrolet electric vehicles, with split headlights and a large enclosed grille below, giving it a futuristic look.
From the side, the body lines are lower and more sporty. The new car will also use hidden door handles. Additionally, depending on the configuration, the new car will also have adjustments in details such as the bumper and roof luggage rack.
The rear of the car also features a through-type light group, combined with the hexagonal license plate area below, which effectively increases the sense of layers of the rear. In terms of body size, the length, width, and height are 4845/1913/1644mm, and the wheelbase is 2954mm. From the dimensions, it is not difficult to see that it is the same platform model as the Buick E4. In terms of power, the new car Explorer EV two-wheel drive version has two options for pure electric power, 150kW and 180kW, with a maximum speed of 180km/h. From the positioning of the model, it is speculated that the new car is likely to be aimed at the price range of 150,000 yuan (21050$) for pure electric SUVs.
