The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology website released the 379th batch of “Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Production Enterprises and Products” today. Xiaomi SU7 is included in the list, and its latest declaration image has also been leaked.
The new Xiaomi SU7 model has some changes compared to the previously released model. It now offers a new 21-inch wheel to choose from, as well as different colored brake calipers. Additionally, the XIAOMI logo at the rear can now be blackened and with a smaller font. The new car also offers the option to install carbon fiber exterior rearview mirrors. The Xiaomi SU7 is positioned as a high-performance eco-technology sedan, with a length of 4997mm, a wheelbase of 3000mm, a width of 1963mm, a height of 1440mm, and a drag coefficient of Cd 0.195.
Xiaomi’s SU7 “Smart Cabin” is equipped with a five-screen linkage system, using the Snapdragon 8295 cabin chip, and running on Xiaomi’s Penglai OS. The car’s screen uses a 16.1-inch 3K resolution screen, supports CarPlay and airplay, and also has a HUD and a 7.1-inch flip meter. The rear seats can also be equipped with Xiaomi’s tablet Pad as an expansion screen, and supports Apple iPad. In addition, the SU7 also retains most of the physical buttons for easier operation. It will also be equipped with ambient lighting, sporty Nappa leather seats, a 5.35 square meter glass roof, and a 15-speaker sound system. In terms of power, the Xiaomi SU7 dual-motor version has a maximum power of 673 horsepower, 0-100km/h acceleration time of 2.78 seconds, equipped with a 101kWh NCM lithium battery from CATL, and a CLTC range of 800km. The single-motor version has a maximum power of 299 horsepower, 0-100km/h acceleration time of 5.28 seconds, equipped with a 73.6kWh LFP lithium battery, and a CLTC range of 668km.
