On January 19th, Dongfeng Motors announced the official commercial demonstration operation of the first hydrogen-powered car, the Qichen Da V Hydrogen Realm, in Huadu District, Guangzhou. The commercial demonstration operation, lasting 36 months, is a collaboration between the Huadu District Committee and Government, Dongfeng Motors Group Co., Ltd., Dongfeng Motors Co., Ltd., and Lianyou Travel. The operation will cover the Huadu Automobile City, the surrounding area of the district government, and core areas such as Guangzhou Baiyun Airport and Guangzhou North Station through shuttle buses and official vehicles. It will gradually expand to full operation in the Guangzhou urban area.
IT Home noticed that the Qichen Da V Hydrogen was released on November 3rd last year, with a price of 998,800 yuan (140340$), making it the first model equipped with Qichen hydrogen energy technology.
The car is 4606/1917/1621mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2700mm; equipped with a 60kW fuel cell system, rated power of 60kW, and a single motor with a maximum power of 160kW, the energy storage battery is a lithium iron phosphate battery, and it only takes 5 minutes to fill up with hydrogen; using hydrogen and electricity dual-drive, the full hydrogen full electric range can reach 500km.
