According to Autohome, BYD’s new compact SUV, Yuan UP, is expected to be launched in March this year after being approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The declaration diagram shows that the new UP model adopts a new design language. The front face is equipped with a closed front grille, with the “UP” logo located in the middle of the grille, and it looks more rounded overall. In addition, the new car adopts a semi-hidden door handle design, and the charging port is located on the right side of the front of the car. Furthermore, the rear of the car also adopts the popular through-type taillight design.
The declared information shows that the dimensions of the UP model are 4310mm in length, 1830mm in width, and 1675mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2620mm. Optional configurations include panoramic sunroof, front grille trim, and wheels. In addition, the new car is equipped with a maximum power of 130 kilowatts permanent magnet synchronous drive motor, and the range has not been announced.
