Lotus brought the entry-level configuration of the existing electric SUV model ELETRE tonight, with a price of 728,000 yuan (101210$). The ELETRE model has now expanded to three different configurations, with a price reduction of 100,000 yuan (13900$) compared to the previous entry-level model ELETRE S+. The ELETRE also added a new body color “Eucalyptus White”.
According to the official information from Lotus, the new model being launched will have the same power and energy consumption as the ELETRE S + model, with the following configurations being reduced: – Active rear wheel steering removed – Intelligent anti-tilt control system removed – Frameless electric suction door removed – Front seat massage removed, adjustment function reduced from 20 to 12 items – Streaming media outside rearview mirror not optional – Electric trailer hook not optional – Black tail label not optional – Two wheel hubs not optional – Exterior carbon fiber package not optional – Self-healing sports tires not optional – 4-seat configuration and semi-aniline leather seats not optional – Alcantara steering wheel, interior carbon fiber package not optional – Laser radar becomes optional.
The Lotus ELETRE is built on the EPA architecture and positioned as a pure electric mid-size SUV. The new car measures 5103/2019/1630mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 3019mm and a drag coefficient of just 0.26cd. It has two powertrain options, with a front and rear dual-motor all-wheel drive system. The combined maximum power of the Lotus ELETRE and ELETRE S+ is 450kW, while the Lotus ELETRE R+ has a combined maximum power of 675kW. The peak torque is 710N·m and 985N·m respectively, with acceleration times of 4.5 seconds and 2.95 seconds per hundred kilometers.
In addition, the new car supports 800V high-voltage fast charging, charging for 5 minutes can drive 120km, and it only takes 20 minutes to supplement the battery from 10% to 80%; the battery capacity is 112kWh, and the CLTC range is 650km and 560km respectively.
With a charging power of 350kW, the car can achieve a range of 400 kilometers in 20 minutes of charging, and is compatible with 22kW AC power charging. The track version R+ is equipped with a Track exclusive track driving mode, standard R+ exclusive carbon fiber package and SMC engine compartment cover and other track-level configurations, and can be charged from 10% to 80% in the fastest 20 minutes using a 420kW supercharging pile.
The Lotus ELETRE is equipped with 5 LCD screens and a continuous central control panel light strip, which reflects different vehicle states through color changes. The central control large screen supports folding opening, built-in dual high-pass 8155 car machine chip, compatible with 5G network, supports OTA upgrade and voice recognition technology.
