On January 25th that ARCFOX Jihoo will launch the Alpha S/T Forest Edition PRO today, emphasizing vehicle safety, battery safety, and driving safety.
The official introduction states that the series of vehicles adopts the Magna safety standard, using a steel-aluminum hybrid body structure, a cage frame body, torsional stiffness of 60000N.m/deg, and claims to achieve C-NCAP five-star safety standard.
In addition, the series of models adopt a “four-horizontal and one-vertical” backbone design, claiming that the battery pack and the body are integrated. The battery pack uses multi-layer sealing technology, with IP68 dust and water resistance, and 24-hour monitoring. The exterior is also equipped with a heat-resistant ceramic fiber fire blanket that can withstand temperatures up to 800 degrees.
The official also mentioned that the vehicle is equipped with 17 active safety technologies, including AEB automatic emergency braking system, FCW front collision warning, driver fatigue/distraction warning, and supports intelligent automatic parking, L2+ level a-Pilot advanced driver assistance system, and other features.
According to IT Home, the current Alfa S/T Forest Edition will be launched on June 16, 2023, with an official price range of 18.58-28.08 million yuan and a maximum range of 688km. The official price of Alfa S is 18.98-28.98 million yuan, with the maximum range upgraded to 735km.
The Alpha S, a pure electric mid-size sedan, is equipped with 34 sensors including millimeter-wave radar, lidar, cameras, and Huawei’s HarmonyOS. The new model will feature upgraded front and rear seat heating/massage, leather steering wheel, and heat pump air conditioning. In terms of power, the vehicle uses front and rear dual-motor drive with a maximum power of 473kW, maximum torque of 665N·m, 0-100km/h acceleration in 3.5 seconds, and NEDC range of 500 kilometers.
