Jeep’s new all-electric full-size SUV, the Wagoneer S, official images were leaked online today. The images were accidentally uploaded by Jeep’s official Facebook account and then deleted shortly after.
Compared to the rendered images of the new car reported on IT Home last week, the model that appeared this time looks closer to the production car. According to Jeep’s plan, this full-size SUV, positioned higher than the Cherokee, will be launched in the United States this fall. In terms of appearance, the new car does not have complex or exaggerated lines, it looks angular and tough. It is worth mentioning that the new car uses a relatively traditional flip-style door handle, instead of choosing the hidden door handle that follows the trend. The new car will be developed based on Stellantis’ latest STLA Large platform, which can provide two architectures of 400V and 800V, as well as power batteries of 85-118kWh. The confirmed information at the moment is that the new car will be equipped with a dual-motor four-wheel drive system, with a maximum output power of 600 horsepower and an acceleration time of 0-60 miles per hour in just 3.5 seconds. Stellantis previously stated that the all-new Jeep Wagoneer S is an important part of Jeep’s global electrification plan, which will transform 4xe into a new 4×4 to achieve the brand’s vision of “zero emission freedom”.
