On January 24 that blogger @SugarDesign released spy photos of the Nezha S hunting version, a derivative model of the existing Nezha S. This afternoon, Nezha Automobile CEO Zhang Yong officially teased the car, with the internal code name EP41, set to debut around the Beijing Auto Show and be delivered in the mid-year.
Zhang Yong said that this car will be the first car built on the Shanhai platform 2.0 architecture, with significant upgrades in both hardware and software. The new car is expected to share most of the design with the sedan version of the Nezha S, including the front styling and waistline. At the same time, a laser radar can be clearly seen at the top of the new car, indicating that Nezha’s advanced intelligent driving assistance will soon be “on board”.
During the recent 2024 Nezha Automobile Value Chain Conference, Nezha Automobile and Hesai Technology announced an upgraded partnership. The new Nezha car models will be equipped with the 128-line ultra-high-definition laser radar AT128, creating the advanced intelligent driving system NETA PILOT that covers all travel scenarios. Nezha Automobile stated that the new car will be launched later this year, which may include the Nezha S hunting version. It is currently unknown if the existing Nezha S will be upgraded to include advanced intelligent driving assistance.
The 2024 Beijing International Auto Show will be held at the China International Exhibition Center in Shunyi from April 25 to May 4, 2024. The component exhibition area set up at the Chaoyang Pavilion of the China International Exhibition Center will be held from April 25 to 27, with a total exhibition area of 230,000 square meters.
