On January 29, the Starway Chasing Wind C-DM was officially launched, with three models priced between 12.98-14.98 million yuan. It uses a 3-engine power + 3-gear DHT combination to ensure long endurance while saving fuel consumption and providing stronger power output. From now on, car buyers can enjoy four major rights of listing, including quality assurance, rescue gifts, traffic gifts, and charging gifts.
In terms of appearance, the Star Road Chase C-DM still adopts the family-style design, with a through-type lamp group shape plus the car logo, increasing the level of the vehicle and recognition. In terms of details, the real and usable air intake on both sides of the front bumper not only improves the vehicle’s aerodynamic design, but also brings better cooling effects to the vehicle, even in hot weather or long-term congestion, there will be no engine overheating.
The overall shape of the car’s side has not changed. The vehicle’s dimensions are 4538x1848x1699mm, with a wheelbase of 2670mm. The new car has 18-inch wheels with a low drag design, giving it a futuristic and stylish look.
The design of the rear of the car remains consistent with the existing model, with a continuous taillight group and vertical reflective strips on both sides of the rear bumper, which is classic and recognizable. The new car does adopt a dual-sided dual-out exhaust layout, but the exhaust outlet on the rear bumper is only decorative, with the real exhaust using a hidden design.
In terms of interior, the overall interior design of the StarRoad C-DM looks more layered and the patterned trim also enhances the luxury of the entire car. Compared to existing models, the new car will add orange trim and the overall design of the dashboard and the design of the central channel position have also undergone many changes.
In terms of technology, the Starpath Chasing Wind C-DM has been comprehensively upgraded, including the use of a class-leading 24.6-inch surround curved screen that integrates the instrument panel, central control screen, and quick keys, increasing the overall technological sense of the vehicle. The clarity of the instrument panel display is very high, with a clean and tidy interface that can display commonly used functions. The new car will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 automotive-grade chip as standard across the range, and will be equipped with the Lion 5.0 Smart Cloud System, making operation smoother. The central control screen integrates most of the vehicle’s functions, including online navigation, online entertainment, mobile connectivity, voice interaction, OTA upgrades, and also integrates more head unit apps to form a more comprehensive ecosystem aggregation car entertainment system.
In terms of power, the Starway Chasing Wind C-DM is equipped with the industry’s first 3-engine power + 3-gear DHT combination, combining a 1.5T engine and dual motors, with a system comprehensive maximum output power of 240kW, maximum torque of 545N·m, pure electric range of 80km, comprehensive range of over 1000km, and fast charging time of only 25min from 30% to 80%.
