On January 28th, the latest batch of “Road Motor Vehicle Production Enterprises and Products Announcement” from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology revealed the new Changan UNI-V plug-in hybrid version. The car is expected to be launched and sold this year.
In terms of appearance, the new car integrates the front grille with the side decorative panels, the headlights on both sides look very sharp, and the body side uses hidden door handles and multi-spoke aluminum alloy wheels. In the rear part of the car, the new car uses a central dual exhaust layout and eliminates the iDD tail badge from the previous generation.
The vehicle’s dimensions are 4720mm in length, 1838mm in width, and 1435mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2750mm. Optional features include a sunroof, no sunroof, black roof, electric tail wing, front lights, and rims. The vehicle is powered by a 1.5-liter hybrid engine with a plug-in hybrid system, producing a maximum power of 81 kilowatts. In comparison, the previous generation UNI-V Smart Electric iDD is equipped with a 1.5T engine, with an official price range of 144,900-159,900 yuan (22540$), and the new car price is expected to be adjusted.
