Tonight, the Tank 700 Hi4-T officially launches, offering 3 models with prices ranging from 42.80 to 70.00 million yuan. The new car is considered the top level in the mid-to-large size off-road SUV category among Chinese car brands.
New car introduction The Tank 700 Hi4-T has a rugged appearance, jokingly referred to as the “Chinese Big G.” The Tank 700 measures 5090/2061/1952mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3000mm. The new car’s LED laser headlight module is equipped with 260 LED beads, providing high recognition.
The Tank 700 Hi4-T has a maximum approach angle of 37.8 degrees and a maximum departure angle of 37.6 degrees, with a maximum wading depth of 970mm. Its towing package includes a 12500-pound front winch, a 2.5-ton electric trailer hook, and a trailer power outlet.
The interior still features the family style of the tank brand, interpreting the “iron man tenderness” concept inside and out. The 700 is overall more high-end and luxurious than the 500. The interior is equipped with ultra-wide-angle fibrous cloud seats, with front and rear seats standard with ventilation, heating, and massage functions, as well as adjustable wing headrests and independent leg rests for the front seats. The backrest of the rear seats can be adjusted to a 141° angle.
The new car features a full LCD instrument panel, a floating center control screen, and HUD head-up display, adding a high-tech atmosphere to the interior and also has a five-screen linkage function. In addition, the Tank 700 is also equipped with a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.
The Tank 700 Hi4-T is equipped with a 3.0T V6 twin-turbocharged engine and P2 electric motor to form a plug-in hybrid system, matched with a 9-speed automatic transmission, with a total power of 385kW and a peak torque of 800N·m. The new car has a multi-mode all-terrain system, including modes such as sport, snow, mud, sand, rock, water, 4H, 4L, automatic, and expert.
The new car is equipped with an upgraded intelligent four-wheel drive + Mlock mechanical locking system. The front and rear differential lock castings use a higher strength, better wear-resistant aluminum reducer housing. The front and rear drive shaft assemblies have been upgraded to BorgWarner 6 planetary gear mechanism. The Tank 700 Hi4-T is equipped with air springs + CDC electromagnetic shock absorbers, the air springs can adjust the stroke to 120mm, not only off-road ability is top-notch, but also luxurious comfort.
