Although the brand has not been launched for long, it has a complete product matrix from compact cars to SUV models, thanks to the strong technical support of Changan Automobile. The Changan Qiyuan A07 is a product targeted at the domestic new energy large luxury market. The newly launched Changan Qiyuan A07 fragrant version is a pure electric vehicle, offering two CLTC models with a range of 515 kilometers and 710 kilometers, and a total of 3 models. The flagship version experienced this time has advanced configurations such as frameless electric suction doors, 16-speaker surround sound system, massage seats, and L2 level IACC intelligent navigation.
The Changan Qiyuan A07 Zhenxiang version still has the brand’s distinctive design. The overall shape of the vehicle uses flowing curves to ensure a clean and smooth appearance. This allows the vehicle to present a smooth light and shadow effect in both cloudy and sunny weather.
The new car has a high width ratio of 0.77 and a low-slung design, giving it a more sporty look, especially when viewed head-on. Without the need for a grille, the front end is cleaner, with the widened fenders extending the width of the front. I must say that even though I had already anticipated the simplicity of the interior before the shoot, I was still somewhat surprised when I opened the car door. Whether one likes this minimalist style or not really depends on personal preference.
After all, the Chang’an Qiyuan A07 Zhenxiang version is positioned as a mid-to-large-sized sedan. Although it was born in the digital age and emphasizes its technological attributes, it has not neglected its luxury aspects. The cabin uses a combination of large leather and suede, and faux wood trim on the door panels and center console, with the workmanship of the cabin also at a very good level for its class. In terms of interior color options, it follows the trend closely, offering light cloud gray, light mist green, reddish pink, and a brand new Qingyan gray, providing a very rich selection. The central armrest area features a semi-open design, which complements the overall layout of the cabin and is very comfortable when reaching for items in the lower storage. The front adjustable hidden cup holder maintains the area’s aesthetics when not in use, and the front wireless charging panel for phones is slightly raised for easier access.
