The object of our shoot today is the all-new Tengshi N7. Chief Co-creation Officer of Tengshi Motors, Zhao Changjiang, launched a bold “vote” on the appearance of the new car on Weibo as soon as the official images were released: “If everyone thinks this N7 looks good, I, Zhao Changjiang, will perform the Yangtze River jump for you all!” In the end, the vote ended with a significant disparity of nearly 7:3, with the majority feeling that the appearance of the new Tengshi N7 is “stylish” …
So, will Zhao Changjiang fulfill his promise to “jump the Yangtze River”? We’ll have to wait and see. Today, let’s take a static look at the product charm of the 2024 Tengshi N7.
The shooting location is located inside Xidan Joy City. In addition to the media, many customers who come to the mall for shopping are irresistibly attracted by the unique blue of the all-new Tengshi N7. This is the newly launched “West Lake Blue” color scheme of the new car, which is refreshing, and the visual effects presented at different light angles will also be different, as the saying goes, “light makeup and heavy makeup always match.”
The new car’s changes in appearance are focused on the front face, with a more mainstream and simple design language of “meteor arrow”. The split-type headlight assembly, combined with a semi-closed design, presents an “X” shape, significantly enhancing the overall sense of diving and sportiness in the front of the car.
The middle position light “meteor” shape echoes the main light’s three “arrow feathers”, which is quite recognizable.
In the black glossy panels on both sides, there are integrated laser radars, which hint at some surprises in the smart driving aspect of the new car.
Thanks to the pure electric exclusive platform and CTB technology, the Tengshi N7 presents a very obvious coupe posture on the side. In terms of dimensions, the 2024 Tengshi N7 is 4860mm long, 1935mm wide, and 1602mm high, with a wheelbase of 2940mm. Considering the body size, the new car has a width-to-height ratio of 1.2:1 and a wheelbase-to-length ratio of 0.618:1, creating a very coordinated proportion.
Large-sized wheel hubs can serve as a symbol of luxury, and the suspended car emblem in the center of the wheel hub is even more rare, highlighting the high-end positioning of the vehicle once again in the details.
The left side of the car body has a fast charging port, and the right side has two ports for fast and slow charging, allowing the N7 to achieve “dual-gun fast charging”. The 2024 model may also have a higher total charging power.
If you think the Tengshi N7 is too “low” and difficult to call an “SUV”, then you have to mention the air suspension in the “Yunche-A”. It can adjust the ground clearance between 120mm-200mm, and you don’t have to worry about its passability. In addition, in the intelligent welcome mode and convenient access mode, the vehicle will automatically raise the chassis, bringing a strong sense of interaction between people and vehicles.
The rear is rounded and thick, with through-type taillights extending to the side of the car, presenting a wide-bodied feeling, with the “arrow feather” design on both sides echoing the front of the car. The upper spoiler is just the right size, further echoing the lower guard and adding a sense of hierarchy to the rear of the car.
Upon entering the car, a sense of luxury and technology hits you. The entire center console is divided into two “π” symbols, accompanied by three screens on the left, center, and right, as well as the newly installed streaming rearview mirror above, creating a perfectly symmetrical effect. In terms of materials, a combination of leather, suede, real wood, metal, and crystal is used, creating an atmosphere akin to being in a high-end furniture showroom.
The 17.3-inch central control screen has a resolution of 2560*1600, displaying clear support for HDR effects. It has mainstream applications, theme switching, and brand-specific functions such as “Tencent Box” and “Tencent Sound Live”.
The 10.25-inch co-pilot screen has a resolution of 1920*720 and supports functions such as maps, multi-screen linkage, interactive K-song, and mobile phone projection. The content of the co-pilot screen can be easily shared to the central control screen, making it very convenient to operate music switching and map navigation while driving.
The multifunction steering wheel is medium in size, with a unique design and brand logo in the center. It has physical buttons on both sides, which are well-received.
The transparent crystal gear shift knob has a unique design that makes people can’t help but want to “play” with it. Despite this configuration appearing slightly “fancy”, many consumers really do choose a car because of a unique gear shift knob.
The TSN N7 has no phone charging issues. The driver and passenger seats have dual 50W wireless super fast charging for phones, which can be turned off using voice control. Additionally, there are 60W TypeC and 18W TypeA interfaces in the front and rear seats to meet various electronic device charging needs.
The TSN N7 has a memorable feature: it is the first in the world to be equipped with the Divaray brand in-car audio system. With the participation of Divaray’s senior sound engineer and the blessing of core technologies such as the Divaray SPACE enhanced hybrid technology and the Divaray SDVC speed sensing volume control technology, the N7’s audio system has five acoustic highlights: high-fidelity rendering, explosive bass, extraordinary spatialized stereo, adaptive sound, and an intuitive interactive interface.
Under the dashboard, there is a huge storage space for small items, such as tissues, to be stored effectively.
The co-pilot seat supports 8-way power adjustment, heating, ventilation, and massage functions, equipped with zero gravity mode, and the leg rest can be adjusted from 0 to 70 degrees. Combined with the co-pilot screen mentioned earlier, it is not an exaggeration to say that the co-pilot’s “status” on the Tengshi N7 is high.
The longer wheelbase ratio can provide more spacious X-direction seating space, allowing rear passengers to sit without restriction. Additionally, with the support of CTB battery technology, the Z-direction space inside the car is also guaranteed, even with a sloping rear design, there will be no “head sweeping” situation.
The rear seats also support ventilation, heating, and 10-point massage function. The ventilation is “suction type” and does not cause discomfort after long-term use. It is worth mentioning that the suction type seat ventilation has become an important standard for defining “true luxury” in recent years.
The 2024 Tenshi N7 rear seats have a noticeable upgrade – electric backrest adjustment. The adjustment button is located next to the window up/down button. Pulling/pushing can adjust the angle of the rear seat backrest, which can be adjusted between 102°-120° to meet the riding habits of different passengers.
The design of the large liftback not only looks great but also provides a more spacious trunk. The trunk volume of the Tengshi N7 is 480L, and the interior is very organized. The larger opening brought by the liftback also provides convenience for loading and unloading large items.
Additionally, thanks to the highly integrated three-electric system, the long front of the N7 is not cluttered with power systems, but instead can accommodate a 20-inch carry-on suitcase in the front trunk. Separate storage at the front and back can further unlock more vehicle usage scenarios.
The 2024 Tengshi N7 has made significant progress in its appearance, undoubtedly making more consumers willing to delve into it and discover the balanced and strong product power of the Tengshi N7. Whether the Tengshi N7 can become another high-heat model in the same level as the Tengshi D9 is undoubtedly determined by its pricing. We will soon conduct a comprehensive test drive of the new car, bringing us closer to its launch. Interested friends may want to continue to pay attention.
