It is reported that the new car will be officially launched in March.
The Changan CS75 series debuted in 2014. In 2020, the first-generation CS75PLUS became the top-selling SUV in China. By 2023, it had become the annual champion in SUV fuel vehicle sales. As of now, the cumulative sales have exceeded 2 million units.
From the official pictures, the third generation CS75PLUS Champion Edition retains the beloved family design style, and the tough body appearance abandons unnecessary lines to create a more pure and natural sense of technological beauty.
The third-generation CS75PLUS champion edition features a new borderless starry sky grille on the front face. The redesigned upper grille continues the overall horizontal styling language, making the front face visually wider and more robust. The grille unit cleverly applies a design technique that gradually transitions from three-dimensional to flat from the middle to the sides, revealing a more exquisite and stylish sense of light and shadow. At the same time, the upper grille also adds electroplated bright strips between the body colors, enhancing the styling tension like the finishing touch.
The lower grille has been redesigned in terms of material type and color zoning to present a more dynamic atmosphere. The white-black-white color arrangement from top to bottom also echoes the color zoning at the rear, creating a more vivid and layered overall vehicle detail, further enhancing the design texture of the third-generation CS75PLUS Champion Edition.
The full LED crystal pulse front headlights, the through-type flowing front position lights, and the borderless starry grid are integrated to provide a dynamic welcome effect when unlocking the vehicle.
The side of the car features a powerful and rugged design, with sleek lines and 19-inch starry wheels, giving the third generation CS75PLUS Champion Edition a more sporty feel.
The third-generation CS75PLUS championship edition is equipped with a roof spoiler and features a classic dual-sided dual-row design at the rear of the car, giving it a sporty feel. The full LED combination taillights achieve a relief effect through a vertical thick wall structure, providing good recognition when illuminated.
In terms of power and control configuration, the third generation CS75PLUS Champion Edition will be equipped with the Aisin 8-speed automatic transmission as standard across the range. At the same time, the third generation CS75PLUS Champion Edition will introduce two models with 1.5T and 2.0T Blue Whale engines to meet different users’ different performance needs. In addition, it is reported that the Blue Whale series engines installed in the third generation CS75PLUS Champion Edition will apply the new Blue Whale Power Smart Calibration Technology, greatly improving engine efficiency and giving users a more outstanding performance experience.
In terms of intelligent driving, the third generation CS75PLUS champion is expected to be equipped with L2 level intelligent driving system as standard. The entire series has multiple driving assistance functions such as intelligent cruise follow-up, front collision warning, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, intelligent high beam system, intelligent offset avoidance, emergency lane keeping, etc.
In addition, the third generation CS75PLUS champion edition is equipped with a number of cutting-edge intelligent technology configurations to meet the car scenes and user needs of the digital era. These include the intelligent W-HUD that can ensure the driver’s focus on driving and reading information, as well as the IMS intelligent interaction system that supports intelligent child care, fatigue monitoring and warning, and facial recognition functions. The third-generation CS75PLUS champion edition features large areas of soft wrapping covering the door panels, center console, dashboard, and steering wheel, creating an extremely exquisite and luxurious style. The champion edition will offer two interior color schemes, mysterious gray and passionate red, to cater to different users’ preferences. The new car is equipped with the innovative “gradient perforation” combined with “divergent arc-shaped stitching” on the sports cloud-feel integrated seats. The new stitching design and decoration also give the seats a richer sense of layers and delicate texture.
In the central control area, the “ultra-long integrated curved dual-screen” composed of two 12.3-inch LCD screens is particularly eye-catching. This dual-screen continues the 8.1° curved design that conforms to the curvature of the human retina, providing a better visual experience.
