Today, Xiaopeng P7i welcomes a new version, the P7i 702 Max Pengyi version with a comprehensive offer price starting at 249,900 yuan (34620$) officially released. Users can go to the Xiaopeng showroom to experience the new car, and the delivery of the new car will start simultaneously.
This is the first time the Xiaopeng P7i has introduced gull-wing doors to a two-wheel drive model, and added two new exclusive body colors, Star Twilight Purple and Starry Blue, with standard 19-inch sporty black wheels, dual 50W wireless fast cooling, suede-like headliner and other exclusive configurations, while the AI large model-based Tianji system will also be “on board”.
From the launch of the P7i 702 Max Peng wing edition, Xiaopeng Motors introduces the world’s first intelligent scissor door into the household market, symbolizing luxury and previously only appearing in supercar models.
The P7i 702 Max Pengyi Edition’s Pengyi door is driven by the dual NVIDIA DRIVE Orin supercomputing platform, with 508TOPS computing power, equivalent to 20 times the computing power of a regular intelligent assisted driving car. It integrates six perception fusion methods, including car door side ultrasonic radar, car side ultrasonic radar, and visual perception, to achieve precise distance measurement and perception of obstacles on both sides in all scenarios. In addition, the P7i Pengyi Edition’s Pengyi door has the world’s first voice-controlled opening and closing function, as well as 16 other opening and closing methods such as NFC and screen touch. In addition to the luxury experience brought by the Pengyi door, Xiaopeng Motors has also launched two custom exterior colors, Star Twilight Purple and Star Blue, specifically for the P7i 702 Max Pengyi Edition.
In terms of interior details, the entire car features an exclusive suede-like headliner, highlighting a sense of luxury; the first in its class with 257-color ambient lighting, which can autonomously change colors and also sync with music rhythm, perfectly combining visual and auditory experiences.
The P7i 702 Max Wing Edition is equipped with dual 50w air-cooled wireless charging, high power reduces charging time for mobile devices, and air cooling ensures that the charging device does not overheat. In addition, the new car has flip-up armrests on both sides, allowing for easy access for both driver and passenger. The car also features a variety of car fragrances to create a pleasant atmosphere, and 60W Type-C fast charging for phones and computers. Smart technology has always been the gene of Xiaopeng Motors, and the new 702 Max Wing Edition further upgrades the intelligent vehicle system. The XOS Dimensity system will also be upgraded through OTA, based on the SA8155P vehicle chip, supporting various Android applications. The XOS Dimensity system allows for a dual-screen experience, with customizable quick components for easy interaction. The production-level AI end-to-end model is integrated into the XNGP system, expressing the intelligent driving capabilities.
In terms of intelligent driving, the P7i 702 Max Pengyi version is equipped with the XNGP full-scene intelligent driving assistance system, with dual NVIDIA DRIVE Orin supercomputing platform, with a total computing power of up to 508TOPS; the entire vehicle is equipped with dual lidar, millimeter-wave radar, ultrasonic radar, binocular camera, panoramic camera and other perception components, capable of achieving 360° perception capability. With the strong support of XNGP’s deep visual perception system, it can achieve mapless, point-to-point intelligent driving functions, support city NGP intelligent navigation assistance driving, high-speed NGP intelligent navigation assistance driving enhanced version, LCC road centering assistance enhanced version and many other intelligent driving assistance functions, as well as VPA-L parking lot memory parking enhanced version, EAP super intelligent parking assistance and many other intelligent parking assistance functions in multiple scenarios.
In February 2024, Xiaopeng Motors rolled out the XNGP intelligent driving assistance feature to its users, allowing for use in any city or on any route with navigation. The P7i model offers advanced intelligent driving capabilities without selling futures, focusing on user experience with a ‘heavy perception, light map’ approach. The P7i 702 Max Pengyi version continues the P7i’s consistent advantages in driving control performance and safety protection, with a focus on superior driving control experience through the use of super three-electric protection. The standard non-thermal propagation battery and the ten-valve thermal management system minimize energy loss and enable maximum performance output.
In terms of chassis, the Xiaopeng P7i is equipped with SACHS professional shock absorbers, providing excellent driving experience. To meet the personalized driving needs of users, the Xiaopeng P7i also offers a variety of driving modes and introduces the highly driving experience-oriented “pilot mode” for the first time in the 702Max Pengyi version.
In terms of safety, the Xiaopeng P7i received a 2023 Euro NCAP five-star safety rating in the fourth quarter of last year, meeting the new EU safety standards. In terms of battery life and energy replenishment, the Xiaopeng Pi comes standard with the X-HP2.0 integrated thermal management system, which can integrate heat throughout the entire vehicle during winter conditions, intelligently delivering energy to the areas that need heating the most. The peak battery cooling capacity has increased by 160%, greatly improving charging efficiency, with a 10-minute charge providing a range of 240km.
