Despite the growing momentum of new energy vehicles, luxury brands have not slowed down their pace of introducing new traditional fuel vehicles. On March 26, the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLE coupe was officially launched, with 3 models available: CLE 260 coupe, CLE 300 4MATIC dynamic coupe, and CLE 300 4MATIC luxury coupe, with a suggested price range of 457,600 to 552,300 yuan (76420$). The new car is positioned as a mid-size two-door coupe, replacing the previous C-Class and E-Class Coupe models.
The all-new CLE coupe is equipped with the M254 2.0T four-cylinder engine and comes standard with the 48-volt ISG intelligent motor system. Paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, the vehicle has a maximum power of 190 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 400 Newton meters. With a minimum acceleration of 6.3 seconds per 100 kilometers, the unique 4MATIC all-wheel drive system and standard sports suspension complement each other, making the vehicle more stable and agile. As a coupe, the all-new CLE has larger body dimensions and a 2865mm long wheelbase design than its peers, making the overall body lines more stretched and the space more practical. The sloping design showcases a beautiful rainbow-like roof curve, while the two-tier waistline gives the body lines a more elongated look. Standard 19-inch AMG wheels, frameless doors, and a full-bodied sporty rear end make the all-new CLE coupe more sharp and agile.
In terms of interior design, the floating sensation enhances the sense of sportiness, while full digitization keeps the luxury experience up to date.
The all-new CLE meets the demands of the new era in intelligent technology configuration. The new car comes standard with a level 2 intelligent driving assistance system, equipped with the third generation MBUX intelligent human-machine interaction system, standard with the Qualcomm 8295 intelligent cockpit chip and 5G communication module, with powerful data processing and transmission capabilities. The brand-new Amap custom navigation based on 3D game engine rendering highly restores the surrounding scenery, coupled with China’s exclusive lane-level navigation, making the navigation screen more realistic and clear at a glance. In addition, the all-new upgraded “mind-reading voice assistant” supports all-scene wake-up-free, continuous voice command functions. The new “scene” function can automatically execute navigation, entertainment, and other functions based on different triggering conditions such as time and date, in addition to multiple preset scenes, users can also set custom scenes.
