On March 29, the 2024 Avita 12 was officially launched at the Avita Spring Conference, with 4 models priced between 26.58-37.88 million yuan.
The Avita 12 was launched on November 10th last year, less than half a year ago, showing the fast pace of product updates. The new model still focuses on luxury, intelligence, and safety, while improving various technologies on this basis.
The 2024 Avita 12 has launched the 700 Pro version with rear-wheel drive, starting at 26.58 million yuan.
In terms of appearance, the new car has not changed much, still following the “Future Elegance” design concept. Since the birth of the Avita 12, its interior and exterior design has received a lot of praise. The proportions of 0.61 in wheelbase, 1.38 in width-to-height ratio, and 0.514 in wheel height ratio make the body proportions very harmonious. The new car also introduces a new exterior color called Huijin gold, using paint with a “chameleon” effect, the dual-layer paint can change color with different angles.
In terms of interior design, the new car features a panoramic digital surround induction cockpit design, front row standard dual zero gravity seats, full-view ultra-clear linked screen in sight, experiencing intelligent light-sensitive color-changing dome, listening to the panoramic sound field of CST coaxial speakers, creating a sense of luxury from visual, auditory, and tactile senses inside.
In the field of intelligent driving, as a member of the first echelon of domestic intelligent driving, the 2024 Avita 12 comes standard with 3 laser radars, 29 intelligent driving sensors, and is equipped with Huawei’s latest high-end intelligent driving HUAWEI ADS 2.0. On March 28, the Avita 12 started the intelligent driving NCA without relying on high-precision maps, and optimized multiple functions through OTA, including tidal lanes, bus lanes, and added a side obstacle collision prevention system. At the same time, the Avita 12 recently conducted the first test of the country’s first 5G-A smart parking lot. Safety is also a major focus of this conference. The Avita 12 has 19 intelligent active safety configurations and is equipped with 3 laser radars integrated with a general obstacle perception network. It uses a super high-strength steel-aluminum hybrid cage body for passive safety, with aerospace-grade aluminum and high-strength steel accounting for over 80%; in terms of batteries, CATL’s customized H-type ternary lithium battery uses a high-strength 6-series aluminum alloy battery protection shell, completing 150+ special safety and performance tests.
In terms of the three-electric system and energy supplementation, the new Avenza 12 adopts an 800V full-stack high-voltage ultra-fast charging platform, equipped with Huawei’s DriveONE power domain solution, perfectly matched with Huawei’s full-liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging terminal technology, achieving a charging speed of close to 1 km per second. At the same time, Avenza and Huawei jointly build a nationwide liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging network, currently constructing over 100,000 full liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging piles in more than 340 cities and major highways across the country.
In addition, Avita will be the first global brand to adopt the CATL Panshi chassis. The Panshi skateboard chassis, developed by Avita and CATL, is based on integrated skateboard chassis and CTC technology, supporting 5C supercharging technology, capable of achieving 120 kilometers per hour collision without catching fire.
