Ford Motor Company announced on April 1 that Jia Mingdi will replace Zhu Meijun as the President of Lincoln China, reporting to Ford China President and CEO Peter Fleet and Lincoln Global President Dianne Craig. Zhu Meijun, the current President of Lincoln China, will retire from the company on May 1. She will serve as a senior advisor to Peter Fleet for the next month to assist with the transition.
“Jia Mingdi, with rich experience in the field of automotive sales, marketing, and network development in China, and a deep understanding of the development trends in the Chinese luxury car market,” Wu Shengbo said, “I believe that Jia Mingdi’s joining Lincoln China will leverage his experience, accelerate the revitalization and transformation of the Lincoln brand, launch even better products, continuously enhance the ‘Lincoln Way’ service experience, further deepen cooperation with dealers, redefine the new American luxury represented by the Lincoln brand, and strengthen the high-quality development of the Lincoln business.” Before joining Lincoln China, Jia Mingdi held multiple executive positions including General Manager of SAIC Volkswagen Audi Division, Deputy General Manager of Marketing and Sales of SAIC Volkswagen, and General Manager of Shanghai SAIC Volkswagen Sales Co., Ltd.
