Recently, Chery announced first quarter and March new car sales. Chery Holdings Group sold 181,585 cars in March, an increase of 45.3% year-on-year. In the first quarter, they sold a total of 529,604 cars, a 60.3% increase year-on-year, maintaining a high growth trend.
In the first quarter, Chery Group sold 60,133 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 124.3%, with new energy sales doubling. Total exports of vehicles in the first quarter reached 253,418, a year-on-year increase of 40.9%, maintaining its position as the top Chinese automaker.
Chery Group’s main passenger car sales in March: Chery brand sold 116,927 vehicles in March, up 40.7% year-on-year; total sales from January to March were 350,314 vehicles, up 57.6% year-on-year. Jetour brand sold 6,653 vehicles in March, up 3% year-on-year; total sales from January to March were 23,493 vehicles, up 44.4% year-on-year. Riich brand sold 35,503 vehicles in March, up 82% year-on-year; total sales from January to March were 107,476 vehicles, up 106.9% year-on-year. iCAR brand’s first pure electric product, iCAR 03, has been on the market for only one month, and already achieved sales of 5,487 vehicles in March.
