Lei Jun earlier posted on Weibo, “Three years ago, bold words have now become reality. I will personally hand over the new Xiaomi SU7 to the first batch of owners. From today, Xiaomi officially becomes a car manufacturer. Shouldn’t you all call me Director Lei now? Hahaha.” The delivered model will be the Xiaomi SU7 Founder’s Edition. At the March 28 press conference, Lei Jun announced the special release of 5000 Xiaomi SU7 Founder’s Edition models, which come with exclusive badges and accessories in addition to the standard and Max versions. Due to early production, they cannot be customized and will be delivered first. The non-Founder’s Edition Xiaomi SU7 and Xiaomi SU7 Max will start deliveries at the end of April, while the Xiaomi SU7 Pro will start deliveries at the end of May.
