At the upcoming 2024 Beijing Auto Show on April 25, BMW Group will unveil the BMW Next Generation Concept Car to Chinese consumers.
BMW Group Chairman Zipse said the “New Generation” is not just a car or a specific concept, but a redefinition of the BMW brand, which will be more BMW than ever before. The new generation models will have three main features: a new electronic architecture, a new user interface, and improved human-machine interaction; a new high-performance electric drive and battery system; and a new level of sustainability throughout the product life cycle. In addition to the new generation models, BMW Group will bring fifteen series to the Beijing Auto Show, covering a range from compact to luxury, from niche to high-performance, with four different driving forms. The new all-electric BMW i4 will make its global debut, and the important members of the 4 Series family, the new BMW 4 Series coupe and convertible, will also be launched at the Beijing Auto Show. As the best-selling BMW M high-performance model in China, the new BMW M4 will be refreshed and launched.
MINI’s first all-electric crossover, MINI ACEMAN, made its world debut in Beijing. At the same time, another electric product from the family, the new electric MINI COOPER, will also be officially unveiled in China.
The BMW iX5 hydrogen fuel cell vehicle will debut at the Beijing Auto Show. It only takes 4 minutes to refuel and can easily travel over 500 kilometers.
