At the Huawei HarmonyOS Spring Launch Event on April 11, the new Smart Selection S7 was officially launched, with 5 models priced between 24.98-34.98 million yuan. Building on previous products, the new Smart Selection S7 has been upgraded in terms of intelligence and power systems. Regarding delivery, Yu Chengdong also announced at the event that after issues such as the relocation of customer service factories, the Smart Selection S7 will begin “mass delivery.”
The Zhijie S7 is the first sedan model under the Hongmeng Zhixing brand, with dimensions of 4971/1963/1474mm and a wheelbase of 2950mm. The exterior remains unchanged, featuring a streamlined design commonly seen in electric vehicles.
In terms of interior design, the OneBox shape of the Zhiji S7 provides more space. Features such as the zero-gravity front passenger seat and flat multifunctional dashboard enhance comfort and convenience. Other features include double-layer silver gradient sun protection glass, rear starlight touch black belt, and hidden built-in ETC. The rear seats support two-way adjustment and ventilation heating.
In terms of intelligent cockpit, HarmonyOS 4 system’s Super Desktop 2.0 supports full integration of mobile apps, HUAWEI MagLink can expand rear screen. With data encryption, sensitive permission control, personal data isolation capabilities, fully prevent network attacks. In addition, the in-car smart assistant Xiao Yi will be integrated into Huawei Pangu model in May.
In terms of power, the Zhiji S7 is equipped with the HUAWEI DriveONE 800V high-voltage silicon carbide efficient power platform as standard, with a fastest acceleration of 3.3s per hundred kilometers. The new car also debuts the Huawei Tuling intelligent chassis, equipped with CDC variable damping shock absorbers and air suspension.
In terms of endurance and replenishment, the ZhiJie S7 is equipped with the Huawei Megalodon 800V high-voltage battery platform, with a minimum power consumption of 12.4kWh per 100 kilometers and a maximum endurance of 855km. All models are equipped with 800V high-voltage supercharging. The ZhiJie S7 also introduces the Ultra model, equipped with a 100kWh battery pack, with a comprehensive endurance of 751km.
The Zhijie S7 Pro also debuted the Huawei Visual Smart Driving HUAWEI ADS Basic Edition, covering national highways and urban expressways, while also supporting intelligent parking. The Pro models are equipped with the HUAWEI ADS Advanced Intelligent Driving function, with NCA in urban areas currently covering over 40,000 towns nationwide. In actual use, the success rate of smart driving entering/exiting urban elevated roads is as high as 99.2%. Intelligent parking supports valet parking, customer parking, remote parking, and covers complex irregular parking spaces such as ultra-narrow spaces and mechanical spaces.
The ZhiJie S7 is equipped with a 192-line lidar, with a detection range of 250m. The all-round collision prevention system has been greatly improved, with forward AEB supporting speeds of 4-150km/h and stopping speed of 120km/h. The lateral support ranges from 40-130km/h for active obstacle avoidance, while rearward support ranges from 1-60km/h for active braking, actively identifying pedestrians, vehicles, and other targets. With the continuous release of various products, the competition in the pure electric car market is becoming more intense. Even products with just the number “7” have become a red ocean.
