On April 12, Land Rover Range Rover Sport SV EDITION ONE limited edition officially launched. The new car is a high-performance version of the Range Rover Sport, equipped with performance exterior package. It is powered by a 4.4T V8 engine. Limited to 15 units in mainland China, priced at 2.438 million yuan.
The Range Rover Sport SV continues the styling of the regular version, but adds exaggerated performance parts such as carbon fiber engine hood and front lip. The exterior mirrors, grille, and Range Rover badge are all blacked out for a sportier look.
In addition, the new car has a new performance front bumper with large air intakes on both sides to improve aerodynamics.
The side profile of the body is similar to the current model, with proportions that continue the classic look, appearing very harmonious. The sloping roof also looks very dynamic. In terms of details, the new car features 23-inch carbon fiber wheels, designed to significantly reduce unsprung weight and improve vehicle handling performance. Additionally, the new car is equipped with bright yellow Brembo Octyma 8-piston exclusive brake calipers.
It is worth mentioning that the new car is equipped with 285 PS4 all-season tires in the front and 305 in the rear, providing excellent traction in various environments. Additionally, the Range Rover Sport SV also features a design with hidden door handles. Furthermore, the new car has upgraded the rear bumper, using a more performance-oriented dual exhaust with carbon fiber material for a visually explosive effect.
The interior design is the same as the regular version, featuring a 13.7-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 13.1-inch Pivi Pro high-definition borderless curved touch screen with a minimalist design approach.
Details, the new car adopts the red + black color scheme commonly used in performance cars, and is equipped with exclusive “SV” logos on the seats and steering wheel, complemented by the high-gloss black material in the interior, creating a stronger sports atmosphere. In addition, the new car also offers a white interior option. In terms of intelligent configuration, the all-new Range Rover will be equipped with Land Rover’s latest generation Pivi Pro4 entertainment system, with a 13.1-inch high-definition curved touchscreen in the center console, integrating most of the vehicle’s functions.
In terms of power, the Land Rover Range Rover Sport SV will be equipped with a 4.4T V8 engine + electric motor light hybrid system sourced from BMW, with a combined maximum power of 635 horsepower and maximum torque of 750 Nm. It will be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The official 0-100km/h acceleration time is only 3.8s, with a top speed of up to 290km/h. For suspension, the new car will feature a hydraulic linked 6D dynamic air suspension system, replacing traditional anti-roll bars with a semi-active control system to control vehicle pitch and roll, maintaining balanced body posture during rapid acceleration, braking, and turning. In SV mode, the TracDSC stability control system oriented towards the track can be activated. Additionally, the new car will be equipped with the latest ATRS Land Rover All-Terrain Technology, featuring the second generation intelligent All-Terrain Response Adaptive System that automatically adjusts the chassis system according to road conditions.
