Recently, we learned from Changan Automobile official that the 1.7 millionth production car of Changan Yidong, a compact sedan under Changan, has officially rolled off the line. Changan Yidong is a popular product in the 100,000-level compact SUV market. It has 12 years of history, three generations of models, and has gained the trust of 1.7 million users, achieving the leading position in China’s quality car manufacturing.
Currently in its third generation, the new car was recently launched with three models priced from 8.39 to 9.69 million yuan.
In terms of appearance, the third generation of Changan Yidong adopts the “vertical and horizontal all things” design language, with a borderless front grille combined with a grid-like air intake grille to create a good sense of fashion. The long headlights, exaggerated air intake design, and low front-end lines further increase the overall sportiness of the vehicle. In terms of size, its length, width, and height reach 4770/1840/1440mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2765mm.
Looking at the rear of the car, the taillights feature a new design language that complements the front headlights. In addition, the trunk lid is equipped with a ducktail spoiler, along with a sloping roof, further enhancing the car’s sporty characteristics.
In terms of interior, the new car features a minimalist center console layout that looks very clean. The LCD instrument panel measures 10.25 inches, while the multimedia screen measures 13.2 inches.
In terms of intelligent configuration, the new car is built-in with MTK 8666 chip, 8-core CPU, with a computing frequency of 2GHz, and 2 trillion neural calculations per second. It also comes with the Xunfei Feiyu OS 4.0 ecosystem, featuring customized map desktop, Kuwo music, Himalayas, product operation, Xunfei input method, voice self-learning, children’s channel, mini programs, app store, and other rich ecological services. In terms of safety configuration, the third generation of Changan Yidong is equipped with IACC integrated adaptive cruise control, 540° high-definition panoramic image, collision warning, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, lane keeping, adaptive high and low beam, lane change assistance, rear-end collision warning, lateral reverse warning, door opening warning, and other functions. Based on the Ark architecture, the third generation of Changan Yidong is powered by the Blue Whale’s new NE1.5T turbocharged four-cylinder engine, with a maximum power of 170 horsepower and a maximum torque of 260 Nm. It is matched with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission system.
