On April 18, Chery Fengyun T9 officially started pre-sale, with prices ranging from 15.99 to 19.99 million yuan. The new car will be equipped with Kunpeng super energy C-DM hybrid system and positioned as a mid-size SUV. The main target audience of Chery Fengyun T9 is young family members, so the configuration is at the leading level in the same class, including L2+ level intelligent driving assistance, 15.6-inch central control screen, etc.
In terms of appearance, Chery Fengyun T9 adopts a family-style design, but as a representative of Chery’s new energy vehicles, it does not use a conventional intake grille, instead opting for a fully enclosed design with vertical decorations, giving it a futuristic and technological look.
In terms of lighting, the new car features a traditional headlight design that is small but spirited. The front bumper exudes power and style, while the side air vents are popular among young consumers. To ensure air intake efficiency, the front bumper retains a grille in the middle, but it is hidden without affecting the overall feel of the car.
In terms of body size, the new car measures 4795x1930x1738mm with a wheelbase of 2770mm. It is positioned as a mid-size SUV and is available in five-seat and seven-seat versions for consumers to choose from. The Chery Fengyun T9’s side profile is simple and stylish, with fewer lines and more suitable for family use.
The new car will feature hidden door handles and 20-inch wheels, giving it a unique luxurious look. The large wheels will improve performance and comfort. The rear window has a tightened design, adding to the car’s dynamic feel.
The rear design looks more rounded and full, with a through-style taillight shape and multi-angle lines creating a three-dimensional effect. The taillights use transparent lampshades, paired with black and red light strips, increasing the sportiness and mystery of the rear end.

Chery Fengyun T9 features minimalist interior design with almost no physical buttons, most functions integrated into a 15.6-inch touchscreen, and will use a shift-by-wire system to save space for the central aisle.
The flat-bottom steering wheel features a two-tone design and excellent feel. The multifunction buttons use a touchscreen design, adding a strong sense of technology. Additionally, the vehicle will be equipped with W-HUD head-up display function to improve driving safety by allowing drivers to better observe the vehicle’s driving conditions.
In terms of configuration, the new car will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. The operation of the entire screen is very smooth, supporting online entertainment, online navigation, smartphone connectivity, voice interaction, app downloads, OTA upgrades, and other functions. It also includes a 540° transparent chassis, SONY sound system, 256-color ambient lighting, and more.
Due to the use of the console design, the central aisle has more space. At the front is the wireless charging panel for mobile phones, followed by a cup holder with a cover, and at the back is the few keyd control area for driving mode, driving mode, and window defogging.
The front seats of Chery Fengyun T9 are designed with improved ergonomics, materials, and styling. The seats offer practical features such as electric adjustment, heating, ventilation, and massage to enhance comfort during driving.
The overall space in the rear row is very satisfying, with the backrest angle and seat cushion length meeting the needs of Chinese users. The second-row seats of the car also have power adjustment and comfortable boarding functions, making them quite luxurious.

Using DHT and a 3-speed DHT gearbox, the comprehensive range exceeds 1400km, with WLTC fuel consumption of 5.2L per 100km. For the chassis, the new car will offer an HDS hydraulic isolation system, as well as CDC electromagnetic suspension, intelligent electronic shock absorbers, making the entire car more comfortable and luxurious to drive, which is not commonly seen in the same class of vehicles.
