Volkswagen’s first all-electric SUV model, the ID.UNYX, will debut at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show. The new car is positioned as an A-class all-electric coupe SUV and will be launched in China later this year. The ID.UNYX is Volkswagen’s first model to feature a gold badge, symbolizing value, hope, and achievement.
In terms of appearance, the ID.UNYX integrates daytime running lights and two LED matrix headlights, with a distinctive look. The car has an exaggerated front bumper with hidden air ducts to reduce aerodynamic drag. This is the first time Volkswagen has implemented “Volkswagen” on the rear badge.
In terms of body size, the car measures 4663/1860/1610mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2766mm. The car will be powered by a dual-motor system with maximum power outputs of 80kW and 170kW for the front and rear motors, respectively. The car is equipped with ternary lithium batteries produced by CATL.
