On April 20, the new Chery VX6 was officially launched with a price range of 14.19-15.99 million yuan. It comes with various benefits, including a “happiness expansion gift” of 2000 yuan (280$) off 15000 yuan (2070$). This is equivalent to a limited-time discount of 13,000 yuan (1800$) on the guidance price. The discounted price range for happiness benefits is 12.89-14.69 million yuan. The new car also introduces a “non-burning green” version with some changes in detail.
The front of the Chery VX6 combines triangles and parallelograms, blending well with the overall vehicle profile. The Chery VX6 is 4658/1890/1656mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2850mm. It features hidden door handles, a floating design for the D-pillar, and all-red taillights. The “Non-focusing Green” version has a two-tone body design with special treatments on details like the front bumper, roof, and wheels, giving it a more youthful style.
In terms of interior design, it features a very clean style. The central control panel uses a rectangular layout, full LCD instrument panel, dual-spoke steering wheel, and floating horizontal central control screen. The air conditioning vents are designed to be hidden and enhance the interior atmosphere with multi-color ambient lighting. Equipped with 64-color ambient lighting, it features an immersive home audio system with electronic gear shift and 9 speakers.
The front seats of the Chery VX6 can be folded down to increase space utilization, with a removable armrest box for a flat bed-like space. The vehicle has 20 storage spaces, a trunk volume of nearly 500L, queen seats, karaoke and movie viewing room, mini living room, and various other scenes.
In terms of power, the Chery VX6 is equipped with a six-in-one super electric drive, with a maximum power of 160kW and a peak torque of 275Nm, paired with a 62kWh high-performance lithium-ion battery pack. It utilizes a new generation of thermal management system NTP non-thermal propagation battery technology, providing the Chery VX6 with a range of 520 kilometers. Additionally, the vehicle also supports external discharge function.
