At the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, the Audi Q6L e-tron made its official debut, specially designed for the Chinese market. Compared to the overseas version of the Audi Q6 e-tron, it has not only increased the wheelbase but also made more improvements in the exterior design. Let’s take a look at this model together.
In terms of appearance, the Audi Q6L e-tron continues the classic SUV design, with a more stylish and youthful front design featuring split matrix LED headlights with 12 adjustable brightness light units for more versatility.
The logo features a luminous design with a light strip in the middle, enhancing the sense of technology. The Audi Q6L e-tron adopts a fully enclosed front bumper design with a large area of high-gloss black decorative panel running through the entire front bumper, reflecting the design genes of the new e-tron family.
The Audi Q6L e-tron measures 4884x1965x1687mm with a wheelbase of 2995mm, 105mm longer than the overseas version. The new car features a sleek design with sporty waistline and wheel arches.
The new car will use 21-inch low drag wheel design, giving it a simple and stylish look. In addition, it will feature hidden door handles to reduce drag and enhance technology. Designed specifically for the Chinese market, the car will come in a new “Lilac Grey” color.
The design of the rear end also reflects Audi’s understanding of SUV models, with a powerful and solid appearance. The new car will use a new OLED taillight assembly with 360 light-emitting units to create different patterns to alert following vehicles and pedestrians.
The taillights of the car also feature a luminous design, with special attention given to the high-mounted brake light. When we press the brake pedal, the LED lights under the roof spoiler will light up, projecting the brake light onto the rear window to alert vehicles behind us.
The design of the rear bumper echoes the front of the car, using a two-section decorative strip with a glossy black finish, giving it a stylish and sporty look. Additionally, the rear emblem is also painted black, appealing to young consumers’ aesthetic preferences.
Currently, only the exterior design of this car has been revealed. The interior and space are still kept secret. The car will come with 800V charging technology, allowing for 260km of range in just 10 minutes of charging. It can go from 10% to 80% battery in 25 minutes.
