At the 2024 Beijing Auto Show today, the Changan Qiyuan E07 made its official debut and started blind ordering simultaneously. The new car is the first “smart new car” created by Changan based on the SDA architecture, featuring digital and intelligent characteristics, positioned as a mid-to-large SUV. It is expected that the Changan Qiyuan E07 will enter mass production stage in October this year.
In terms of exterior design, the Qiyuan E07 exudes a futuristic feel. The front of the vehicle features integrated LED headlights with a sleek design. The lower bumper is treated with a smoked black finish, paired with unique air flow channels on both sides to create a strong sporty vibe. The vehicle is equipped with black painted aluminum alloy wheels, with the production version expected to have larger wheels.
At the rear of the car, the QYuan E07 follows the trend with a large sloping coupe-style design, paired with surrounding taillights and dual horizontal light strips that echo the front grille, giving the rear of the car a unique identification. The roof is equipped with a practical luggage rack, while the rear bumper, also smoked black, cleverly enhances the three-dimensional sense of the rear of the car.
In terms of body size, the Qiyuan E07 measures 5045mm in length and 1996mm in width, with heights of 1640mm, 1665mm, and 1695mm depending on the user’s choice of optional equipment. The new car has a wheelbase of 3120mm, ensuring ample head and legroom for passengers.
In terms of power systems, the E07 offers consumers a choice between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. The two-wheel drive model has a maximum output power of 252 kW and a top speed of 201 km/h. The four-wheel drive version features a dual-motor layout with a front motor power of 188 kW, a rear motor power of 252 kW, and a total system power of 440 kW, showcasing excellent performance with a top speed of 210 km/h. The new vehicle is equipped with high-performance ternary lithium batteries for a long-lasting and stable driving experience.
