On April 25, at the MINI Owner Party, MINI unveiled its new MINI family models, including the all-new electric MINI COOPER, the new electric MINI Aceman, and the recently launched new MINI JCW COUNTRYMAN. Additionally, the new fuel-powered MINI COOPER was also unveiled. At this party, MINI officially announced the start of pre-sale for its new MINI COOPER electric family, offering 3 models with pre-sale prices ranging from 210,000 to 270,000 yuan (37290$).

The front of the MINI inherits the iconic circular headlight design, paired with a striking new octagonal grille, outlining the dynamic momentum of the front end. The LED daytime running lights not only have three adjustable modes, but also can interact with people, displaying welcome/farewell animations when turned on/off. The exterior interactive experience alone is full of ritualistic significance.
On the side of the body, the black door sill enhances the dynamic spirit, visually lowering the height of the body, resembling flying close to the ground. The waistline adopts a through design, highlighting the sense of layers on the side of the body.
The rear end of the car features creative aesthetics that are hard to ignore, with a clear and smooth overall shape. The matrix-style LED taillights have three adjustable modes and still maintain the classic vertical light group design of MINI, subtly incorporating the elements of the British flag.
The interior features a minimalist style, with HUD replacing traditional gauges, a 9.44-inch circular OLED touchscreen in the center console, and classic dials below the screen. The air conditioning vents are designed in a seamless manner. Eight “experience modes” are available – Initial mode, Karting mode, Eco mode, Relax mode, Nostalgia mode, Custom mode, Party mode, and Nomad mode. The front dashboard, with its large curved design, uses renewable woven fabric for the first time, with a dual-color scheme, distinct layers, and customizable color options. The seats are made of high-quality Vescin material, while all fabrics, roof, and floor materials are made from recycled materials. In terms of power, the MINI COOPER E is equipped with a 184-horsepower single motor and a 40.7kWh battery pack. The MINI COOPER SE features a 218-horsepower electric motor and a 54.2kWh battery pack, with a WLTP-rated maximum range of 402 kilometers and 0-100km/h acceleration in 6.7 seconds. The new MINI COOPER released this time is a three-door model, with the overall design similar to the pure electric version. The only difference is in the exterior details. For example, the front grille does not use a closed design, but instead adopts a grid-style mesh grille, which looks more sporty with a blackened treatment.
In addition, the new car’s wheel design differs from the pure electric version. The “S” emblem on the COOPER S model is red, while the pure electric version is green.
In terms of interior, it adopts the same design as the electric version, with a 9.44-inch circular central control screen and renewable woven materials. The new MINI COOPER gasoline model is expected to offer 1.5T three-cylinder and 2.0T four-cylinder engines.
