On April 25, 2024, the Beijing Auto Show opened. Skyworth Motors unveiled the Skyworth EV6 II supercharged model and the Skyworth K RHD right-hand drive model, featuring industry-leading technologies such as 800V+4C high-voltage fast charging, 100kW DC discharge, and Health 3.0.
Skyworth EV6 II officially launched, with 3 configurations priced between 13.98-16.98 million yuan. Positioned as a mid-sized pure electric SUV, offering 402km, 520km, 620km of range.
In terms of appearance, the new car continues the design of the current model, with a simple look without a front grille. The shape of the through-type taillights also meets the current trend. The new car measures 4720/1908/1696mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2800mm.
In terms of interior design, it features a warm and luxurious style, with a full LCD instrument panel and a floating large screen. The air conditioning vents are unique, with wooden decorative panels. The large floating central control screen retains physical buttons for added convenience. In terms of power, the Chuanwei EV6 II is equipped with a single motor, with a maximum power of 150 kW and a maximum torque of 320 Nm. It supports fast charging, with the 402km range model using lithium iron phosphate batteries, and the 520km and 620km models using ternary lithium batteries.
In addition to new cars, Skyworth Automotive has also released the innovative 100kW DC discharge function, which can replenish over 30% of energy in just 10 minutes of car-to-car charging. This technology can achieve an external discharge range of 800V DC-300V DC, with a maximum discharge current greater than 500A, and a continuous power output of over 100kW. With this, the Skyworth EV6 II supercharging model can expand into more diverse car usage scenarios, such as car-to-car charging, car-to-home charging, and car-to-cabinet charging. Compared to existing energy replenishment vehicles, the overall cost of use is lower and the maneuverability is not limited. This must be applauded.
