On April 25, Changan Qiyuan E07 was officially launched and started blind testing. The car is built on the Changan SDA platform architecture, positioned as a mid-to-large-sized high-end intelligent electric SUV, and is planned to start mass production in October and is expected to be officially launched later this year.
In terms of appearance, the new car features a popular enclosed front face design, with eye-catching circular light strips and a darkened lower bumper for added depth. The E07 can also be equipped with optional laser radar, seamlessly integrated into the overall vehicle design. However, concerns remain about the potential for damage and maintenance costs.
Arriving at the side, you can see a clear crossover style, different from the usual lines we see. Visually, the E07 presents a subtle symmetrical balance, possibly due to the powerful waistline design at the rear. With a sleek coupe-like design, the trunk can fully open to switch from an SUV to a pickup, making it convenient to load and unload luggage/cargo. The dimensions of the new car are 5045/1996/1695mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 3120mm.
At the rear, the new car features a circular light strip design and horizontal light group design, echoing the front end. The rear design is simple with plenty of horizontal lines, giving it a layered look.
In terms of interior design, the new car features a popular large screen + wrap-around cockpit design, with a simple overall look. The steering wheel is designed in a three-spoke style, with a multifunctional area using buttons + scroll wheel design. The large screen supports left and right rotation, while the E07 uses a lot of soft wrapping to enhance the overall texture.
In terms of power, the new car offers two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions to choose from. The two-wheel drive version has a maximum power of 252kW, while the four-wheel drive version is equipped with 188kW and 252kW front and rear motors, with a total power of 440kW. The new car is equipped with a Changan Golden Bell battery, offering extended range and pure electric power, with a range of 551km, 651km, 701km, and 1000km.
